Bobby Cannavale re-teams with girlfriend Rose Byrne for new comedy

Actor Bobby Cannavale and his girlfriend Rose Byrne are teaming up for their third film together in the upcoming comedy, Spy.

The Blue Jasmine star has been cast in Bridesmaids director Paul Feig's new movie about a female James Bond-type character, according to TheWrap.com.

Cannavale and Byrne, who have been dating since 2012, first acted alongside each other in the remake of movie musical Annie, due in cinemas in December (14). They recently wrapped indie comedy Brother's Keeper, also set to be released later this year (14).

The project reunites Byrne with her Bridesmaids co-star Melissa McCarthy, who will play the lead role.

Jude Law and Jason Statham have previously been cast in the film, which is slated for release in May, 2015.
