Bobby Brown's lawyer blasts false stories about Bobbi Kristina
Bobby Brown's lawyer has dismissed reports suggesting the R&B star's ailing daughter Bobbi Kristina is about to be discharged from hospital so she can die at home.
The 22 year old has been in a coma since the beginning of February (15) after a near-drowning incident at her home in Georgia, and multiple sources have told media outlets her family is preparing for the end of her life.
But singer Brown's attorney, Christopher Brown, has released a
statement insisting the stories are false.
He states, "Due to the numerous false reports and sensationalism
regarding Bobbi Kristina over the last two weeks, there is a need
to comment. Bobbi Kristina is not going home to die as numerous
news affiliates and websites have reported.
"Furthermore, let me be clear, Bobby Brown has not made any
comments to TMZ or any reporting agency, despite the TMZ article
reporting that he is feuding/angry with his sister Leolah Brown.
Bobby Brown never gave an interview to TMZ."
That comment follows reports suggesting the My Prerogative singer
has fallen out with his sister over Facebook comments she made
earlier this week (beg15Jun15) about Bobby's former sister-in-law,
Pat Houston.
Bobby adds, "Unless you hear it directly from me or through my
attorney, do not believe any words attributed to me. I am making
decisions with Pat Houston and we are working together for the
medical care of my daughter.
"I do not have time for the frequent sideshows that others choose
to engage in almost on a daily basis. Right now we are focused on
Bobbi Kristina's medical prognosis and the criminal investigation.
These are the priorities for us. Whoever had a hand in causing my
daughter's injuries needs to be brought to justice."
His daughter was found face down and unresponsive in a bath tub at
the home she shared with boyfriend Nick Gordon on 31 January
(15).
