Disney star Billy Unger has pleaded no contest to a lesser charge in his driving under the influence (DUI) case stemming from an arrest over the summer (14).

The National Treasure: Book of Secrets actor's vehicle was pulled over for speeding in Malibu, California in June (14).

Unger, 19, was driving with a blood alcohol limit of .08, which is the legal limit in the state, however the legal drinking age in the U.S. is 21.

He was subsequently arrested but later released on bail, and on Thursday (11Dec14), he was in court to enter a plea deal which would drop both the DUI and speeding charges.

Unger pleaded no contest to a lesser charge of 'wet reckless', which is usually offered to first time DUI offenders who are at the legal blood alcohol limit.

Under the plea, the actor received two years probation and must complete alcohol education programs.
