Beyonce recruits Laverne Cox for secret project

New mom Beyonce has returned to work for a top secret new project featuring actress Laverne Cox.

The Orange Is the New Black star broke the news to fans during an appearance on news show Access Hollywood Live, when Laverne admitted she was still in disbelief at getting the opportunity to team up with the music superstar.

Asked how the collaboration came about, the actress smiled, "I have no idea, to be perfectly honest. Like, does she pick out her biggest fans ever and let them work with her? It's pretty amazing."

Laverne didn't share any specific details about the project on TV, but teased her Twitter followers in a subsequent post after the interview aired.

"Yes it's true. I am collaborating with @beyonce on a new project. #QueenBey herself," she wrote. "More details Sept. 6."

The news will come as somewhat of a surprise to Beyonce's devotees, as the singer has had her hands full since giving birth to twins Rumi and Sir in June.
