Benji Madden fools interviewers by pretending to be Joel

Benji Madden fooled the hosts of an Australian radio show by pretending to be his twin brother Joel during an interview.

Joel Madden, who is a coach on the Australian version of TV talent show The Voice, was due to appear as a guest on The Kyle and Jackie O Show Down Under with Kyle Sandilands and Jackie O, but the hosts were none the wiser when his sibling took his place.

Benji kept his sunglasses on during the interview and answered the host's questions as his brother, before Jackie O eventually realised they had been tricked.

She suddenly stopped the interview and said, "Wait, have we just been pranked? Oh my God... This isn't Joel is it? It's Benji!"

The rocker burst out laughing and replied, "You didn't believe it! You (must have) known. I mean, I'm a little hurt. I thought you guys were just playing along... I've known you guys for 12 years!... I admit I did keep the sunglasses on (deliberately)."

However, Jackie insisted there were no hard feeling, telling Benji, "That's hilarious... You are awesome for doing that."
