Benedict Cumberbatch set to wed before fiancee gives birth - report

Benedict Cumberbatch is reportedly preparing to wed his fiancee Sophie Hunter in the coming weeks so they can be man and wife before she gives birth this summer (15).

The Sherlock star and his partner are preparing to become first-time parents, and British newspaper the Sunday Mirror reports invitations to their upcoming wedding have already been sent out.

The news has sparked rumors the couple's big day is imminent and will take place before the baby is due in the summer.

A source tells the publication, "The invitations have gone out already. It's shocked a few people but they want their special day to happen before they have the baby. The details have been sent out in an email rather than a paper invitation as time is of the essence. They're planning the perfect day. Life couldn't be much better for them at the moment."

Cumberbatch announced the engagement in U.K. newspaper The Times in November (14), just weeks before confirming the pregnancy.
