Bella Thorne is bisexual

Bella Thorne casually confirmed she is bisexual during a Twitter chat with fans on Tuesday (23Aug16).

The former Disney star constantly interacts with her nearly seven million followers on the microblogging site, and she retweeted a fan who posted screenshots of Bella passionately kissing a female friend.

The photos were accompanied with a caption which read: "wake me up when these damn girls will officially date."

Bella's devotees took notice of the cheeky snaps, and one user asked, "are you bisexual?", to which the 18-year-old simply replied, "Yes".

After messages of support came flooding in, Bella showed her gratitude by writing, "Aww thank you for all the accepting tweets from everyone. I love you guys #pride."

The candid confession comes a week after her representative confirmed she and boyfriend Gregg Sulkin had split after a year of dating.

A statement released by the couple read: "After much thought and soul-searching, we have made the difficult decision to end our relationship. We will always love each other and have a deep respect for one another, as we have each grown to be better people because of our time together.

"Our schedules made seeing each other difficult, and we decided that for now this would be best."

The British actor and Bella hit headlines last year (Jun15) when they walked the red carpet together at the MuchMusic Video Awards in Canada. The stars initially remained quiet about their relationship, but she later insisted "it was obvious" they were together and dating.

Bella split from her longtime boyfriend Tristan Klier in 2014 and she was previously linked to Brandon Lee, the son of actress Pamela Anderson and rocker Tommy Lee, and actor Tyler Posey, who she has always maintained is just a friend.
