Bella Hadid reprimands security guard for 'touching' photographer

Bella Hadid jumped to the defense of a photographer who was "pushed" by a security guard.

The 20-year-old model is one of the most sought-after names in fashion, having walked in shows for Ralph Lauren, Anna Sui and Prabal Gurung during New York Fashion Week.

But following her appearance in the Michael Kors presentation on Wednesday (13Sep17), Bella became the center of attention of another reason as she attempted to leave the show, and was swarmed by paparazzi.

In a video clip posted on TMZ.com, Bella is seen walking with her security team to a car, when one guard started pushing his way through the crowd, and swatted away a female photographer.

The action caught Bella's attention, and she can be heard stating to the guard, "Can you please don't touch her." She then positioned herself between the guard and the woman, asking, "Are you okay? Are you okay?" before turning to security guard and adding, "Don't touch her."

As one of the world's most photographed women, Bella has long had a conflicted relationship with the media. In June, the Los Angeles-born star shared that she was considering finding a new apartment in the Big Apple after photographers snapped her and friend Jordan Barrett inside her home, and shared the photos online.

"On another note - whoever thinks it's OK to photograph into someones (sic) home & private space is straight up sick, sad & f**ked up. time to move," she wrote on her Twitter page, alongside a retweeted image of the snaps of her and Jordan.

Last year, she also opened up about how she was coming to grips with her celebrity status. The brunette beauty claimed that even when she is being followed down the street she doesn't feel as though she's famous.

"It's still weird to me when people ask for pictures," she told Glamour. "My close friends from high school keep me grounded-they don't care about what I do. I'm still the same person I was, and I try hard not to change."
