Beatz wants Keys/Adele duet

Alicia Keys' producer husband Swizz Beatz is urging his wife to record a duet with British soul singer Adele because he is convinced the collaboration would "make history".

Beatz is a big fan of the Rolling In The Deep hitmaker and he believes she would score a monster chart hit by teaming up with his R&B star partner.

He tells MTV News, "I just know that you know greatness when you see greatness, and teaming two greats up together, it makes history. And I don't even have to produce the track; I just want it to happen. She (Adele) can produce the track, somebody else can produce the track...

"I just thought that, man, this would be a great moment for both of them, because they have amazing styles and they both respect each other. They're fans of each other. So let's make this good for music."
