Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis settle lawsuit over photos of daughter

Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis have reached a settlement with Mailonline over photos of their daughter.

The Hollywood couple launched legal action against editors of the British news website in 2015 after they published pictures of their baby daughter Wyatt, now two, and claimed that two articles containing "wrongful publication of paparazzi photographs of family outings" were used to "promote clothing products by the Mail".

On Friday (25Aug17), the actors and MailOnline released a joint statement announcing they had resolved the dispute.

"Ashton Kutcher, Mila Kunis and MailOnline are pleased to confirm through their legal representatives that they have reached a satisfactory resolution of their legal action, which includes an agreement to pixelate photographs of their daughter, Wyatt, their son, Dimitri, and any future children they should have together," they said.

No indication was given on whether Kutcher and Kunis received a monetary settlement in the deal.

The pair welcomed their second child, Dimitri, in November 2016. Following his birth, Kutcher released a statement requesting that the public and media be respectful his children's privacy, and once again reiterated his comments in July when photographers published unpixellated photos of the family as they attended a diving event in Budapest, Hungary.

"I continue to kindly ask, please don't post/publish photos of our kids," he wrote on Twitter. "They haven't chosen life in the public eye. Yes we took them to a public place (we like sharing life with our kids) no that doesn't mean we are ok with their photos being published. Please."
