ASHLEY ROBERTS JOINS WYATT BY QUITTING PUSSYCAT DOLLS

A second member of the Pussycat Dolls has quit the band in as many days - Ashley Roberts left the group just hours after Kimberly Wyatt announced her departure.
The band has long been dogged by rumours of tension between its members, with Ashley Roberts reportedly breaking down in tears in front of fans in July (09) due to issues within the group.
Soon afterwards, the Pussycat Dolls announced they were taking a break from performing together, and Kimberly Wyatt went public with her issues about Scherzinger's preferential treatment from music bosses.
Kimberly Wyatt announced on Sunday (28Feb10) she had left the group because she "just couldn't do it anymore", adding: "Money and fame can't buy happiness".
And now Ashley Roberts has followed Wyatt's lead and quit the group to follow her dream of acting.
Announcing her decision on her website, Roberts tells fans, "It's time to answer your question. Yes, I have left the Pussycat Dolls. I love you all sooo much (sic)! I am so grateful to have the love and support of all of you. It was an amazing ride and I learned so much!
"I am currently have (sic) gotten the acting bug and am falling in love with it. I have a few projects in the works and when ready I will announce more details to all of you.
"I am also in the studio recording some of my own music. Let The Music Set You Free.
"You all mean the world to me and I'm excited to take you all on a new adventure. An adventure full of creativity, inspiration, learning, growing and lots of fun. All my love, Ash."
Nicole Scherzinger and Melody Thornton, who both joined the line-up in 2003, are the only remaining members of the group.
