Ariana Grande launches dog adoption initiative

Written by . Published: March 20 2015

Ariana Grande has teamed up with a dog shelter to help house homeless pooches during her New York concerts.

The Problem hitmaker, who has adopted at least two dogs, is sponsoring fifteen puppies from New York City shelter Badass Brooklyn Animal Rescue, and pictures of the pooches will be displayed on big screens during her gigs at Madison Square Garden on Friday (20Mar15) and Saturday (21Mar15).

Images of the animals will be shown throughout the auditorium between each set, and concertgoers are encouraged to note down the online link for each dog if they want to start the adoption process.

Grande writes on Instagram.com, "So if any of these babes happen to steal your heart and you are interested in providing a home for any of them, the link will be right up on the screen and all adoption fees will have already been taken care of by me... Thank you for having a heart and helping these precious babes find homes!"

She adds in the caption, "The team will of course be making sure that the people who reach out make a suitable family/home for the pups in need."
