Angelina Jolie set to work with Pedro Almodovar after red carpet meet

Pedro Almodovar has promised to cast Angelina Jolie in a new film after the actress half-jokingly reprimanded the Spanish moviemaker for not working with her during a Hollywood gala on Saturday (14Jan12).

The pair met at the annual pre-Golden Globes foreign language seminar at the Egyptian Theater, where they discussed their latest films The Skin I Live In and In the Land of Blood and Honey.

Angelina Jolie provided a light-hearted moment for reporters on the red carpet when she took aim at the Spaniard for not hiring her for one of his films.

She joked, "You have never given me a job."

Unprepared Pedro Almodovar responded, "Don't worry, you are joining now. Absolutely."

And he nodded when the actress added, "So one day, when all these cameras are gone, we find a film together (sic)?"
