Amy Schumer wishes her co-star Goldie Hawn was her real mother.

The 35-year-old stars as Goldie's daughter in the new movie Snatched, and the duo opened up about their close relationship while on The Graham Norton Show on Friday (28Apr17).

"I don't feel an age difference, but I do feel maternal, you know, which is normal. And I think as I look at Amy, and as I've watched her, she could've been my daughter," the 71-year-old said.

"From your lips to my ears," Amy replied, adding, "I would have loved to come out of you! Can I say that?"

While Amy hit it off immediately with Goldie, there was one member of the Hollywood icon's family she had a hard time impressing, and she told the audience a story about how Kurt Russell had totally forgotten meeting her.

"I have to tell you the other night about Kurt, so we... I go over to their house the other night for dinner, and Kurt answered the door and he was so sweet, and he just gave me the warmest hello, he was like, 'It is so great to finally meet you. I love you, Goldie loves you, I love you.' And he was so warm, and I go, 'Thank you, Kurt. We sat next to each other at the Golden Globes,'" Amy laughed. "No one in this family remembers meeting me!"

Amy also got on well with fellow guest Orlando Bloom, and the pair posted snaps of each other on the chat show sofa on Instagram.

"My only true friend," the actress captioned a shot of her with the Pirates of the Caribbean star.

"BFFs (best friends forever)," Orlando wrote alongside the same snap on the social media site.

Snatched is due to land in cinemas on 12 May (17).
