Amy Schumer stole bites of Jake Gyllenhaal's frozen cake

Comedienne Amy Schumer has confessed to once rummaging through Jake Gyllenhaal's possessions and drunkenly eating his cake while renting his apartment.

The Trainwreck star reveals the two-bedroom pad "wasn't that expensive" when she rented it with her sister, and during their tenancy, she decided to have a snoop around the few belongings the Hollywood hunk had left behind.

Making the admission during an appearance on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert on Friday (11Sep15), she admitted to going "through all of Jake's stuff", adding, "The one thing that he did leave, because he really gutted the place, he left a frozen cake in his freezer and it was very old."

Schumer reveals she would come back after boozy nights out and dig into the pink baked treat, although it was barely edible.

She explained, "I would get drunk and I would eat it and I would talk as if he were there and I was at the party that the cake was served at."

The funnywoman even showed off video evidence of one such incident, in which she calls herself "a princess" and remarks, "I'm living here so I'm eating it."
