Alicia Keys and producer husband Swizz Beatz's five-year-old son is starting his music career early as a co-producer for Kendrick Lamar's new album.

The Alright star surprised fans last Thursday night (03Mar16) by releasing a new album, untitled unmastered., without any advance notice. The disc features eight tracks which did not make it onto his 2015 album To Pimp a Butterfly, including one named "untitled 07 2014 – 2016".

Shortly after Kendrick dropped the disc on digital platforms and streaming services, producer Swizz took to Instagram.com to reveal that his son Egypt had a hand in creating the beats for untitled 07 2014 – 2016.

"This is the best Dad moment everrrrr (sic)!!!," Swizz wrote. "Congrats to my son Egypt for producing his 1st track on this amazing Kendrick Album he's only 5yrs old wowwwwwww @aliciakeys look at our lil guy baby. thx #Kendrick for investing in the future !!!"

The hip-hop mogul then shared a video of little Egypt in the studio in front of a keyboard, bopping his head as he pounded out chords. Swizz noted that Egypt had "no help on the beat", while proud mom Alicia reposted the video and added, "He got up that morning humming a melody..... We went to the piano to find it....he picked it out by ear....he loves to play.... I know that feeling. Congratulations Egypt for practicing and learning and trying and listening to the music in your heart!"

Swizz posted additional videos of their son in the studio, as well as footage of the little one hearing Kendrick give Egypt a shout out at the start of the final version of the track.

Swizz and Alicia also gushed about their son's early achievement, telling Entertainment Weekly in a statement: "As parents of creative children, this is an amazing day in music. We have always encouraged Egypt to create the music he feels, and as much as he has fun with it, he works very hard and is always practicing. There’s so many talented kids in the world, and we admire Kendrick for supporting the next generation of amazing artists. May we always cultivate and support the dreams of our children."

The couple is also parents to one-year-old boy, Genesis, and Swizz has two other children from previous relationships.
