Alicia Keys will share the spotlight with her pal Beyonce at the Super Bowl next month (Feb13) - she has been chosen to belt out the National Anthem prior to the big game.
The Empire State of Mind hitmaker has reportedly been given the honor of singing the Star-Spangled Banner before the NFL Championship Game in New Orleans, Louisiana on 3 February (13), according to the Associated Press.
Keys will help to kick off the proceedings while Beyonce will hit the stage for the highly-anticipated Super Bowl half-time show. Beyonce was confirmed as this year's Super Bowl half-time headliner last year (Oct12) and it is believed she will reunite Destiny's Child as part of her performance.
She sang the National Anthem at the 2004 Super Bowl in her native Houston, Texas.
Kelly Clarkson performed the anthem at last year's (12) big game, while Madonna provided the entertainment at half-time.
