Adele pays visit to London education center

Adele spent time with disadvantaged children at a charity education center in London on Saturday (29Jul17).

The Hello singer was pictured posing for selfies and chatting with people at the IntoUniversity center in Kensington, west London at the weekend. The charity provides learning centers which help disadvantaged youngsters get into higher education.

Volunteer Padrinio Blaque posted a video on Twitter in which he told the camera, "Bombshell, Adele has just signed my hat" before panning around to a make-up free Adele posing with his fedora and saying, "You can't really see it" about her autograph.

He also shared a picture of himself standing beside the smiling singer and wrote in the caption that he was volunteering for the upcoming Notting Hill Carnival in August.

"Wow. I'm still trying to process the fact that I met Adele - the Adele - whilst volunteering for Carnival 2K17," he wrote.

The center is close to the site of the Grenfell Tower disaster, which claimed the lives of 80 people and left hundreds more homeless when the tower block went up in flames in June.

Shortly after the tragedy, Adele attended a vigil for victims and hugged those affected, before paying a visit to firefighters who helped tackle the blaze.

Firefighter Rob Petty shared a picture of himself and several colleagues posing alongside the star and wrote in the caption, "Not everyday the wonderfully grounded and caring Adele pops into Chelsea Firestation for a cup of tea and a cuddle."

Her visit comes just weeks after she canceled two shows at London's Wembley Stadium, the last two nights of her world tour, after she began suffering from issues with her vocal cords.
