Adele joins million digital downloads club

Adele's 21 has become only the second album to sell a million digital downloads.

The Rolling in the Deep singer hit the milestone a week after Eminem became the first artist to make it to a million with his 2010 release Recovery.

But, thanks to yet another healthy sales week online, Adele's 2011 album has passed Eminem's sales record by 12,000, according to Billboard.com.

Adele's 21 is 2011's best-selling album so far, shifting 2.6 million copies.
