Adele is back in a big way - her comeback single, Hello, has notched up 165,000 sales in just three days in her native Britain and the accompanying video is breaking records online.

Hello looks set to debut at number one in the U.K. this week (ends30Oct15), thanks to 156,000 weekend downloads and 10,000 streams. The song is also a surefire number one in the U.S. thanks to 450,000 downloads in just 48 hours.

Meanwhile, the song's video, which premiered on Friday (23Oct15), has been watched more than 70 million times on YouTube. It's also a big hit on entertainment platform Vevo.com, delivering more than 27 million views in the first 24 hours after its release.

As a result, the promo has dethroned Taylor Swift's Bad Blood video as Vevo's biggest hit - that video was viewed over 20 million times in 24 hours back in May (15).

Hello is the Grammy Award and Oscar winner's first single from her upcoming album 25, which will be released next month (Nov15).
