Adele and Beyonce to sing at Michelle Obama's birthday party - report
Pop superstars Adele and Beyonce have been tipped to perform for First Lady Michelle Obama during her upcoming 50th birthday celebrations at the White House.
President Barack Obama's wife will reach the milestone on 17 January (14) and preparations are already underway for a major party in Washington, D.C.
The star-studded bash will include a number of musical performances
from high-profile artists, and Britain's Mail on Sunday newspaper
reports Adele and Beyonce have both been invited to sing.
A source tells the publication, "America's First Lady will be
holding a huge celebrity-packed party for her birthday at the White
House next year and, as she adores Adele and Beyonce, she has asked
them both to sing. Adele has graciously accepted and waived her
usual fee for the high-profile private performance. She will sing a
selection of her most-loved hits for the First Lady and her
friends."
