Adam Levine hoping to sell Beverly Hills pad before baby

Written by . Published: September 15 2016

Rocker Adam Levine has dropped the asking price of his Beverly Hills home in an effort to sell the pad quickly before the birth of his first child.

The Maroon 5 frontman's wife, model Behati Prinsloo, is due to give birth on 20 September (16), and the singer is hoping to find a buyer for their old mansion by then.

The couple listed the five bedroom pad at $17.5 million (£13.2 million) earlier this summer (16), and now it's on the market for just under $16 million (£12 million).

The gated home comes with a home theatre, library, gym, spa, tennis court and pool.

Adam is also rescheduling his professional life to get ready for his first child with the Victoria's Secret stunner, postponing Maroon 5 tour dates.

He took to Instagram earlier this month (Sep16) to announce his band had pushed back seven North American gigs later this month, so he could make sure he'd be by Behati's side when she gave birth.

"Sadly, it's par for the course with having a baby soon," he said in the clip. "It's life, and it's beautiful, but it can be complicated, and I apologise for any inconvenience. We hope you guys can go to the shows, they'll be just as great. We love you, and we're sorry."

The concerts in Albany, Montreal, Quebec, Buffalo, Cleveland, Cincinnati, and Milwaukee will be rescheduled to February and March of next year (17).

In a statement posted on the band's website, the singer added: "Even when you think you've planned everything perfectly sometimes life just kinda (sic) happens. Soon Behati and I will be celebrating the birth of our first child and, as I'm sure you all understand, I need to be there but unfortunately this means some of Maroon 5's upcoming shows need to be rescheduled."

Maroon 5 kicked off their latest North American tour on 3 September (16) in Texas, and they will take a two week break from 19 September (16) to allow Adam to spend time at home with his wife and child. The band will resume its tour in St Louis, Missouri on 3 October (16).
