Actress Annaleigh Ashford is a mom

Broadway star Annaleigh Ashford is a new mom.

The Kinky Boots regular and her husband Joe Tapper welcomed their first child on 8 September (16).

Little Jack Clark was born in Los Angeles.

"There are no words to describe our joy when we first met our Jack," the actress tells People.

The couple exchanged vows in 2013, and Tony Award winner Annaleigh went public with the pregnancy news in May, stating, "We are so excited to be having a little boy."

She has another big delivery on the way in her professional life - she has been cast to play Columbia in the upcoming televised musical version of The Rocky Horror Picture Show, which will air in America on 20 October (16).
