ABDUL NOT JOINING IN THE HEIGHTS

Producers of Broadway musical In The Heights have shot down rumors Paula Abdul is set to join the show's line-up.

The singer/dancer was alleged to be taking over from actress Priscilla Lopez for a brief stint on the New York stage following her departure from TV talent show American Idol last year (09).

But a representative for the production tells GossipCop.com, "It isn't true."

In The Heights already boasts one big TV star - High School Musical singer/actor Corbin Bleu joined the musical in January (10) for a seven-month run.
