Aaron Carter denies I'm A Celebrity rumors

Former child star Aaron Carter has dismissed reports suggesting he's heading to the Australian jungle to star in British survival show I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!.

The singer-turned-actor was surprised to hear he had been lined up as one of the stars to feature on the reality TV contest, in which famous faces are forced to live together in a remote jungle and compete to win a cash prize.

And Carter insists he has no plans to head Down Under as he's busy with his stage debut in new off-Broadway play The Fantasticks.

In a series of posts on his Twitter.com page, he writes, "I've officially started The Fantasticks In NYC for the next three months. FYI (for your information) Not doing I'm a celebrity get me outta here- Never Was... False Advertising".
