The Jonas Brothers have spent a small fortune on wedding gifts for strangers - because their fans often ruin newlyweds' big day.

The trio inadvertently find themselves staying in hotels staging nuptials from time to time, and they always upset brides, grooms and angry mums.Kevin Jonas explains, We've had a couple of instances where there's been weddings going on during the time we're at the hotel... You get brides like, 'You've ruined my wedding.'Brother Nick adds, A hundred to 12 hundred fans will show up outside the hotel... and the bride... her wedding's ruined, because there's just screaming fans the whole time and it just turns into a big mess.We've actually sent apology gifts to the bride and groom.

Me, my backup singers and my hair-and-makeup girl do it together. They laugh at me, because most of the time they're like, 'Oh, my God, I don't want to go,' and I'm the one saying, 'I'm ready!'. It makes me feel like GI Jane. It's very empowering. I feel like I can whup a**! And in my shows, everybody has noticed. They're like, 'Dude, you have 100 per cent more energy!'

Fictional musical Timberbrit tells the story of Spears' fall from grace, following Timberlake as he attempts to reunite with Spears before she ultimately chooses the audience over her first love.Composer Jacob Cooper used audio software to slow down Spears' hits, collaborating with writer Yuka Igarashi to rework them into haunting arias for the tragedy.A partially completed version of Timberbrit originally debuted in New York City in 2008 but is now being developed into a full stage production.Former child stars Timberlake and Spears broke up in 2002.

Madonna has axed her upcoming concert in Ljubljana, Slovenia, amid reports tickets for the gig were struggling to sell.

The pop superstar was due to perform in the country on 20 August (09), but on Friday (07Aug09) her tour manager confirmed the show will no longer be going ahead.Slovenian media reports the gig was scrapped after promoters only managed to sell 7,000 tickets out of the 63,000 available.But the managing director of Live Nation in Budapest, Laszio Borsos - who is overseeing Madonna's European tour - insists the cancellation has nothing to do with sales.He says, The reason for the cancellation is unforeseen logistical difficulties. There is no problem with ticket sales, absolutely.According to Madonna's website only one concert - to be played in Gothenburg, Sweden on Sunday (09Aug09) - has sold out from the 12 remaining dates on the Sticky & Sweet tour.This is the second show the star has cancelled recently - last month (Jul09) she pulled out of a gig in Marseille, France, after two workers were killed when the stage collapsed.
