Brad Pitt is set to battle extraterrestrials in the Bermuda Triangle, after securing the movie rights to a new video game.

Pitt's Plan B production company has signed a deal with gaming company Capcom to take Dark Void to the big screen.

The actor intends to take the lead role of a pilot who crash lands in a parallel world where he must fight off alien invaders.

Dark Void the game is due to launch in January (10), with the movie scheduled to follow, reports Daily Variety.

The Mean Girls star showed off her style sense by designing a line for the Parisian fashion house, but her creations were mauled by the critics, with style bible Women's Wear Daily calling the collection "an embarrassment."

One of Miley Cyrus' tourbus drivers has been killed in a tragic road accident.

Nine others were injured when the vehicle, transporting fourteen production crew members, flipped over on Interstate 85 in Virginia on Thursday night (19Nov09).
