50 Cent is set to become a reality TV teacher in top chef Jamie Oliver's Dream School.

The Sundance Channel execs have picked up the show, which chronicles college dropouts as they attempt to earn a diploma.

The series offers young adults an education they couldn't be taught in conventional school, featuring a faculty which includes professional musicians, politicians, filmmakers, actors and artists.

Jamie Oliver, who created the show in Britain, says, "We literally changed the lives of many of the kids for the better. Some of them went back to school and are now excelling; some of them found out that, despite being told in school that they would never achieve anything, they were actually very gifted at art or acting and went on to achieve great things."

50 Cent is expected to appear as a teacher, and he will also serve as an Executive Producer under his production company G-Unit Films and Television banner.

Dream School is slated to premiere later this year (13).
