5 Seconds of Summer to continue with tour plans after stage fire

Australian pop/rock band 5 Seconds Of Summer are set to continue with plans to tour Down Under following guitarist Michael Clifford's horrific onstage accident on Saturday (13Jun15).

The musician's hair was set on fire by a pyrotechnics display during the band's show at London's Wembley Arena, and he was subsequently pictured sporting heavy bandages on his face.

Clifford thrilled fans by returning to the same stage at Wembley just 24 hours after the accident to perform another show, and now a representative for the band has confirmed the group's planned tour of Australia and New Zealand is due to kick off later this month (Jun15) as planned, telling Billboard.com, "There's no reason to expect New Zealand and Australia dates will be affected."
