WILMER VALDERRAMA

Born January 30, 1980

Funny man Wilmer Valderrama is best known for his foreign exchange student antics in That 70s Show. But even though that series ended, Wilmer has remained successful.
Wilmer started his acting career after moving from Venezuela to Los Angeles, when he was thirteen years old. He didn't speak a word of English, but he quickly learned the language and jumped into drama class.

Wilmer performed in numerous plays, but his big break came after his performance in a Spanish-language Pacific Bell commercial. Wilmer's big screen debut occurred when he appeared alongside Freddie Prinze Jr. and Jessica Biel in Summer Catch.

On That 70s Show, Wilmer played the character of Fez, a foreign exchange student, for eight years. He was a junior in high school when the pilot episode was filmed. After the show's end, he broke free from his television character and began producing and hosting the MTV "smack-talking" series, Yo Momma. Wilmer then became the voice of Manny on the popular children's show, Handy Manny.

 

FUN FACTS:

In January 2007, Wilmer launched his own men's fashion label called "Calavena"

He is best friends with Ashton Kutcher.

His favorite Love Song is "Take My Breath Away".

Wilmer co-owns three restaurants: Dolce, The Lodge, and Geisha House.
