From a young age, William knew he wanted to be an actor. He had a few small roles on television, but it wasn't until he beat out thousands of other young men for the part of Peter Pevensie in The Chronicles of Narnia that he finally got his big break. It didn't come easy, however. The entire auditioning process took eighteen months! His work paid off though, and while William's talent and good looks have caught the attention of girls everywhere, the humble British hottie told Young Hollywood that he is a little unsure of his newfound heartthrob status.
Either way, the actor couldn't be more grateful for the opportunity and success The Chronicles of Narnia has provided him. Still, he takes his craft very seriously and doesn't want to be type-cast as "Peter" for the rest of his career, so he's dedicated his time to study acting with some of the best teachers in New York. Looks like we haven't seen the last of this beautiful Brit!
Throughout the filming of Narnia, William grew a total of three inches!
Auditioned for the role of Harry Potter.
Listened to the audio books of The Chronicles of Narnia as a boy, and then read them while preparing for his role in the films.
