This Southern California reality star was born on March 24, 1985 in Los Angeles, California. Whitney comes from a big family, as she has three sisters and one brother. Her parents own a fashion company, Swarm, which greatly influenced Whitney's style and career in fashion. She grew up like any normal Los Angeles teenager and graduated from the University of Southern California with a degree in Gender Studies.
Whitney first hit the reality television scene when she co-starred on MTV's "The Hills" as Lauren Conrad's co-worker at Teen Vogue. The cameras caught Whitney's internship at Teen Vogue where she was later employed. Whitney eventually left Teen Vogue for the very successful public relations firm, People's Revolution. "The Hills" captured all of Whitney's career ups and downs.
When Whitney received a job with the major fashion label, Diane von Furstenberg, she moved to New York. Her cross-country move was chronicled in "The Hills" spin-off, "The City." This new reality show centered around Whitney as it chronicled both her personal and work life in New York City. "The City" was so popular that MTV picked it up for a second season. With her reality and fashion success, Whitney's career continued to grow. In April 2009, Whitney left Diane von Furstenberg and returned to People's Revolution.
Whitney is not only a reality TV star, she is also a model and the owner of her own fashion label, Eve and A. Throughout her career, Whitney has mainly kept her love life private. However her relationship with Australian musician, Jay Lyon, was seen on "The City."
