Thomas Jane, star of the HBO series "Hung",began his career with a role on "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" in 1992. His role on "Hung" gained him a Golden Globe nomination for Best Actor in a Television Series, a nomination well deserved after such a developed career.
With small roles in between his 1992 role on "Buffy the Vampire Slayer",Jane finally scored one of his more notable film roles in 1999 as the lead of "Deep Blue Sea". After this role, Jane's career took off and he became a Hollywood actor. His other most famous movies include his portrayal of Mickey Mantle in "61*", the title role as the superhero in "The Punisher," and a lead in Stephen King"s "The Mist."
