Born in Rockingham, North Carolina, Terius "˜The Dream' Nash moved to Atlanta, Georgia with his mother when he was three years old. After the passing of his mother, The Dream was raised by his grandfather in the Bankhead area of Atlanta. Inspired by music at a young age, The Dream pursued a career in songwriting and producing. Through hard work and determination, The Dream has become one of the hottest singer/songwriters and producers in the industry. He is best known for his song-writing skills, penning major hits like Britney Spears' "Me Against the Music," Rihanna's "Umbrella," and Jesse McCartney's "Leavin." He also co-wrote many popular songs including Mary J.Blige's "Just Fine" and Mariah Carey's "Touch My Body."
When he is not writing songs for other artists, The-Dream is writing songs for his own albums, "Love Hate" and "Love vs. Money." This Grammy-award winning artist is well-respected among his peers and the music industry as a whole.
