Taylor Swift born December 13, 1989, in Reading, Pennsylvania. This young country crooner had her sights set high at an early age. With Patsy Cline and Dolly Parton as her inspirations, Taylor began writing songs and performing around her hometown at only ten years old! By eleven, she had made her first demo tape and journeyed to Nashville to distribute it to all of the record labels on Music Row.
Although she was thoroughly rejected, Taylor did not give up on her dream. In fact, her family even relocated to the suburbs of Nashville so she could continue to pursue her music career. While performing at The Bluebird Café, Taylor caught the attention of Big Machine Records and signed with them in 2006...and, as they say, the rest is history. With so much success, Taylor undoubtedly has a lot of die-hard fans. She told Young Hollywood that one fan even got a tattoo of her autograph! Sounds like this talented singer/songwriter will continue to be a fixture on the country and pop music scene for a long time!
