Taylor fell in love with acting at the young age of seven when his Karate teacher persuaded him to audition for a part in a Burger King Advertisement. Although he didn't get the part, he found that acting was something he wanted to pursue. His family then started traveling between Michigan and California for Taylor to audition for different acting gigs, but after a few years they got tired of being on the road all the time and relocated to Los Angeles. Here Taylor had a bigger opportunity to audition for parts, and he even took part on more competitive sports teams.

Once his family made the move, Taylor was able to book TV roles on "My Wife and Kids," "Summerland" and more. He has also been a successful voice on animated shows as well as in several movies. He got his big break in 2005 when he landed the part of Shark Boy in the film The Adventures of Sharkboy and Lavagirl 3-D, and a part in the hit movie Cheaper by the Dozen 2. However this 17-year-old is most known for his parts in the Twilight series. This karate kid is someone you definitely want to keep your eyes peeled for, because there's no telling where he'll be seen next!

From the age of seven, Taylor has won many karate tournaments on the local, national and international levels.

Taylor has a Maltese named Roxy.

He has been ranked #1 on Access Hollywood's "Top Five Hollywood Abs."
