Born: December 14, 1979
This blonde bombshell was born in England and raised in Queensland, Australia. She kicked off her music career when she auditioned for the Australian television talent show "Popstars". After driving all night to the audition, she performed a rendition of Marilyn Monroe's "Happy Birthday Mr. President." Following the extensive rounds of singing and dancing workshops, Sophie was selected to be a member of a new girl group called Bardot, which produced many successful singles and embarked on two national tours before disbanding in 2002. Sophie decided to continue as a solo artist and signed with Warner music to produce her first album Calendar Girl, which fused pop-dance music with her classical opera training. Although Calendar Girl was not as successful as she hoped, Sophie did not give up and headed to Hollywood to work as an actress. Since then she has earned several small roles in films such as Date Movie and Click, as well as an appearance on HBO's "Entourage."
Don't expect this beauty to slow down any time soon though. Sophie has several more projects in the works and tells Young Hollywood that she would like to continue doing a bit of everything since she "gets bored very easily." We have no doubt that this is just the beginning for Sophie!
