Although originally known as Beyonce's younger sister, Solange Knowles has surely made a name for herself. At an early age, she showed a strong interest in pursuing music. She recorded 2 albums; Solo Star in 2003 and Sol-Angel and the Hadley St. Dreams in 2008. Although busy with her music career, she married at the early age of 17, and later gave birth to her first child Julez in 2004. Not letting that slow her down, she recorded with all three ladies of Destiny's Child, and has also worked with well-known producers and artists such as Timbaland, and The Neptunes.
Wanting to branch out Solange took up acting. She appeared in the film Johnson Family Vacation, and then later landed the role of Camille in the cheerleading movie Bring it On: All or Nothing. Solange has been honored with a number of accolades for her work. She can be found on top lists such as Most Important Songs of 2008, Blender's top 144 songs of 2008, and Vibe's 80 Best Songs of 2008. Juggling around her many talents and loves, Solange found herself as a great mother, singer, entrepreneur, actress, and model! She has it all!
