This up-and-coming actor is the youngest of three children. Rob started acting at the age of 15, becoming involved in amateur theatre through the Barnes Theatre Company. After some backstage experience there, he took on acting roles and managed to catch the attention of an acting agent in a production of Tess of the D'Urbervilles. After that Rob began looking for more professional roles, as well as giving modeling a shot (his mom used to work at a modeling agency).
He landed his first film role as Giselher in Ring of the Nibelungs. But, it was his role as Cedric Diggory in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire that got his star status rising. This then lead to his breakout leading role in the highly anticipated movie Twilight, as Edward Cullen. Along with being cast in the movie, Robert also got the chance to record two tracks for the film's soundtrack, "Never Think" and "Let Me Sign." There is a number of film projects lined up for the actor, whom the ladies can't seem to get enough of, and neither can we.
