RAVEN SYMONE BIO
RAVEN SYMONE Born: December 10, 1985
I bet this sitcom-psychic didn't see this level of stardom coming at age three Raven-Symone Christina Pearman was born in Atlanta, Georgia, but moved to New York at a young age. With the support of her parents, while she was still very young, Raven signed with Ford Modeling Agency. Her first big audition was for a movie called Ghost Dad starring Bill Cosby. Being only three years old, she was deemed too young for the role. However, Cosby could see she had talent. He asked Raven to come back to read lines. Her innocence and charm landed her a starring role as Olivia on the last three seasons of The Cosby Show. In 1993, Raven tried her hand at singing. She became the youngest person ever to sign with MCA Records. Raven continued acting and landed a starring role in the televission show, "Hangin' With Mr. Cooper." In 1998, Raven got roles in both Doctor Dolittle and the made-for-TV movie, Zenon: Girl of the 21st Century.
FUN FACTS: Raven once shared an apartment in Los Angeles with her friend Lindsay Lohan. She won the Favorite Female TV Star at the 2004 Kids' Choice Awards. Her favorite game is Scrabble. She loves to watch South Park. Raven is of both African American and Native American descent.
