PUSSYCAT DOLLS

This sexy girl group is known for their chart-topping hits and hot dance moves. Founded in 1995 as a burlesque act by choreographer Robin Antin, the Pussycat Dolls became the Thursday night staple at the famed Viper Room club. In 2003, the group's focus was shifted to music and Doll fever hasn't stopped since.

The group originally consisted of six talented performers-Nicole, Carmit, Ashley, Melody, Kimberly and Jessica-who bring an intense energy and drive to the table. The Pussycat Dolls have garnered incredible success since their 2004 musical debut, with several number one singles and awards to boot. The super stylish ladies even participated in a fashion show on their behalf.

Young Hollywood caught up with lead singer, Nicole Scherzinger where she talked about her solo plans and the groups' achievements, including a Video Music Award in 2006.

The incredible success of PCD has even spawned a new generation of girl groups. Four young women got their shot at stardom on the reality show Pussycat Dolls Present: Girlicious.
