MISCHA BARTON

Born: January 24, 1986

This London born cutie is one tall drink of water that's full of talent. Not long after she was born in Hammersmith, West London, Barton's family headed to the big city, New York that is, when she was five and she began acting soon thereafter.

Barton's most notable role is Marissa Cooper on "The O.C.," the hit series on FOX, but her character died in the third season finale. She since has been cast in many international films as well as appearing in numerous TV commercials and print advertising campaigns. Barton's modeled for well-known companies such as Calvin Klein, Dooney & Burke and Neutrogena skincare products. She has also served as a spokesperson for Keds Sneakers and SAFE (Skin Awareness for Everyone) campaign.

In late October 2008, Barton introduced her second collection of vintage inspired handbags after seeing the successful launch of her first line that she created. Outside of the entertainment and fashion industry, Barton focuses her attention on her role as an ambassador for Save the Children and the "One Water" campaign, which brings water to remote locations in Africa.
