Pretty and petite, from a young age Mena had the makings of a star. At only twelve years old, she began modeling for the New York-based Wilhelmina Agency before moving out to California to pursue acting. Mena’s breakout came when she played a sweet, innocent choir nerd in American Pie. Just a few months later, Mena received rave reviews for her performance as Kevin Spacey’s teenage obsession in the Academy award-winning film American Beauty. Since then, it has been nonstop for this box office beauty who has acted in over twenty films!
Young Hollywood found that she also has a passion for fashion when we spoke to her at a Barney’s hosted event for the eco-friendly Rogan for Target line. Mena can add designer to her resume as well since she has collaborated with Echo Design to launch a limited edition nature-inspired scarf collection! A true artist, Mena has the glamour and elegance of a bona fide Hollywood starlet.
