KRISTEN STEWART

Born: April 9, 1990

The young star began acting at the age of eight performing in elementary school plays. An agent saw her perform and was instantly drawn to her. Kristen appeared briefly in many films before she landed her major role along side Jodie Foster in Panic Room. She garnered positive notices for her performance. Kristen went on to appear in Cold Creek Manor, Catch That Kid, Undertow, Speak and Zathura. Each role built to her success with The Messengers, In the Land of Women, and Twilight.

While the Twilight star battled critics in many of her previous endeavors, Kristen has prevailed and is picking up rave reviews. The part came about through a matter of chance while Kristen was on the set of Adventureland. She captivated a director during an informal screen test. Consequently, she was cast to play leading lady, Isabella Swan, in the movie Twilight. Kristen will continue to captivate the screen for the Twilight series and we will be watching!

FUN FACTS:

Kristen had to wear brown contact lenses for Twilight.

She replaced Hayden Panettiere in Panic Room (2002).

Kristen's cats name is Jella.

In her spare time, she enjoys surfing.

She attended school until the seventh grade, and then continued her education by correspondence.
