Jessica Stroup graduated from Providence High School in 2004. She was offered a scholarship to attend the University of Georgia, but turned it down to pursue a career in acting.
Stroup began her road to fame at the age of 15 when she started modeling. Among sporadic modeling jobs, she booked her first acting job as a guest star on Nickelodeon's teen series "Unfabulous." After that, she scored a small role in the CBS TV movie Vampire Bats. Jessica also appeared in several television commercials and is most recognized as the "Dentyne Girl" in the Dentyne Ice advertisements. In 2007, she landed her first big movie role in the sequel thriller, The Hills Have Eyes II. Then in 2008, she played the role of Claire in the remake of the horror movie Prom Night. She also played the role of Sandi Whitfield in the movie, This Christmas, alongside R&B star sensation, Chris Brown.
Stroup scored a role on the hot revival series "90210" where she plays the role of Erin Silver, aka Silver, a rebel who creates and stars in a YouTube video series about the challenging life of being a teen. This young star has so much more to accomplish in her career and we will continue to watch her grow as an actress.
