Born and raised in California, Jessica Alba seems to have it all! With brains, beauty and a burgeoning acting career, Alba has quickly become one of Hollywood's leading ladies. Alba received the Young Hollywood award for “Star of Tomorrow,” where James Cameron introduced her and gushed over how “wicked smart” she is, and what a talented actress she has become. Alba began her career at a young age starring in the hit T.V. series “Flipper” and appearing in the 1993 film Camp Nowhere. However, it was after she landed the lead role in Cameron's T.V. series "Dark Angel," that everyone took notice of this beautiful brunette.
For her work in "Dark Ange"l she received a Golden Globe nomination and established herself as a serious actress in the industry. After Alba's first major film, Honey, she went on to star in other majors including Sin City, Fantastic Four, Into the Blue and The Love Guru. Alba's career is on a steady rise, and when she was asked at the Young Hollywood awards what she plans to do in the future, her response was, “I plan to dominate the world.” While total world domination may take Alba some time, with a career like hers, we at Young Hollywood think she's on the right track!
