The multi-talented Jason Jordan Segel is an actor, screenwriter, musician and Judd Apatow protégé. He first caught the eye of the public when he appeared in the cult favorite "Freaks and Geeks", which was produced by Judd. The show was short-lived but gave Jason the exposure to land recurring roles on "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation" and "Undeclared".
These days, Jason is a leading man, featured in movies including Knocked Up, Forgetting Sarah Marshall and I Love You, Man. He also plays Marshall Eriksen on the hit CBS show "How I Met Your Mother".
Not only is he a great actor, but Jason also is a writer; he created the screenplay for Forgetting Sarah Marshall. More recently, he was enlisted to write the newest Muppet movie. Jason also co-wrote most of the music on the Get Him to the Greek soundtrack, starring pal Jonah Hill. We can’t wait to see what Jason does next!
In Forgetting Sarah Marshall, Jason’s character gets dumped while he’s naked. This actually happened to him in real life.
He performed "Dracula’s Lament" from Forgetting Sarah Marshall on the 1000th episode of "The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson".
