Hedley hit the music scene in 2005 with their self-titled album and have climbed the charts ever since. From Vancouver, B.C. Jacob Hoggard, Tom MacDonald, Dave Rosin, and Chris Crippin named themselves Hedley after a nearby town in Canada that put itself up for sale.

Their debut single, "On My Own" reached the top spot on the Canadian Singles Chart. In 2006, Hedley signed a deal with Capitol Records and toured with Yellowcard. The Canadian band has also toured with Bon Jovi, Simple Plan, and Nickelback. Hedley's third album, "The Show Must Go" was released in the US in December of 2010.

The multiplatinum group played their hit song "Cha-Ching" off their album "The Show Must Go" at the closing ceremonies for the 2010 Winter Olympics.



Hedley came in 3nd place of the second season of the Reality show, Canadian Idol.
