HANSON
Members: Clarke Issac Hanson (11/17/80), Jordan Taylor Hanson (3/14/83), Zachary Walker Hanson (10/22/85).

Hanson burst on to the music scene in 1997 with their sunny pop hit "MMMBop" but by then these three brothers had already been making music together for years.

All three Hanson members started off playing the piano but when Issac decided to pick up the guitar and Zac borrowed a set of drums, middle brother Taylor took his place at the keyboard and a family garage band was born.

After recording two independent albums in their hometown of Tulsa, Oklahoma the boys were discovered while performing at the Austin, TX music/film festival South By Southwest in 1996.

In less than a year Hanson released their first major record label album, Middle of Nowhere, with lead single "MMMBop" which would be come a number one hit and garner the band three Grammy nominations.

Over the years since the "MMMBop" craze all three of the Hanson brothers have gotten married and had children but they continue to produce well received albums and now release their music under their own independent music label, 3CG Records.

Check out the YH Studio interview with Hanson where the boys perform some tracks from their fifth album Shout It Out and tell host Tatiana Diana about what it was like growing up in the music scene.
