Aubrey "Drake" Graham began his acting career in 2001 when he landed the role of Jimmy Brooks on the hit show "Degrassi: The Next Generation." During that time, Drake started working on his music, releasing his first mixtape Room for Improvement in 2006. He grew in popularity with the release of his collaboration with his mentor, rapper Lil' Wayne. Since arriving on the music scene, Drake has worked with major artists like Jay-Z, Kanye West, Robin Thicke, and Trey Songz. After an intense bidding war for the highly sought after musician, Drake signed a major record deal with Cash Money/Universal/Motown Records. With multiple singles climbing the charts, this Canadian rapper/actor is virtually unstoppable!

FUN FACTS:

Drake's father is African American and his mother is Caucasian.

His favorite music group is N.E.R.D.

Drake grew up in Canada but spent summers in Memphis, TN with his father.
